Author’s Statement on Beauty

Street art adds beauty and color to our grey urban environment, and gives a new dimension to our ordinary world. Each time I wander down a street and come across a stunning street art piece, I feel impelled to photograph it before it gets damaged or disappears. A way to preserve it.

Olivier Schopfer lives in Geneva, Switzerland. He likes to capture the moment in haiku and photography.
